Ed Schafer nominated as U.S. Ag Secretary
President Bush on Wednesday nominated former North Dakota Gov. Ed Schafer to be his next secretary of agriculture. State Agriculture Commissioner Roger Johnson, who worked with Schafer, said Bush made a good call.
